Not interested unless there is multiplayer. I looked at their website and couldn't tell so I contacted them by email. That was a couple of months ago with no reply. Not impressed.

I checked out Waterloo 3D but it doesn't indicate whether you can play it multiplayer which is a must for me. Preferably a PBEM option as well.

What I noticed about the above list is that most of them are arcade style games which I am not interested in.

<t>I played West Front and East Front years ago and still have the original disks. Recently I downloaded the Tiller Software demo of Panzer Battles and I prefer the look of EF and WF. It is a surprise that a series like Panzer Battles is actually inferior graphic wise than a series from more than 20...

<t>Not sure about lumping tactical with strategic wargames but for tactical combat games, it is no contest, the Combat Mission series is the best of the best. As far as I know it is the only computer wargame where you have the option of playing it real time or pbem. Plus the pbem is not server based...

Spam?

I received an e-mail from some site called Network N saying that because I registered for the forums at Wargamer that I could sign up for a Wargamer newsletter. I assumed this was spam. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed spam? Thanks.

<t>I still have a large collection of Talonsoft, and HPSSIMS games, some of which I have never played. For wargamers they were revolutionary at that time but to me they really haven't changed much from the the Talonsoft years. <br/> The biggest issue I have with a lot of these games and the reason w...

<t>I bought SOW Gettysburg when it was first released by NorbSoft and played it for a few months including a couple of online sessions with a friend. However I haven't played it for a couple of years and didn't purchase any of the additional civil war titles or SOW Waterloo.<br/> <br/> The only reas...

<t>I own 18 HPSSIMS titles and before that some Talonsoft ones so I have played many of the games. I recently downloaded the Tiller demos for Panzer Battles and Napoleonic Battles.<br/> <br/> I was disappointed in Panzer Battles as it is basically Panzer Campaigns on a smaller scale. Even the sounds...

I have Scourge of War Gettysburg and it is well done but haven't bought any more of the series or SOW Waterloo because none of them can be played PBEM.
