Re: <t>SAGA or no, Fall of the Samurai is an excellent stand-alone experience and the perfect poster-child for Total War

When it first came out you could buy it without owning Shogun II and still play it on its own. Still correct today, Shogun II base game is not required. A standalone expansion to Total War: Shogun 2. The campaign begins in the year 1864 and covers the events that led up to the Meiji Restoration, na...

Re: Stormpowered store - what is going on with it

For me the hotkeys (that you can't rebind) aren't optimal to use. I use a small piece of software to rebind the keys (outside of the game) : Autohotkey https://www.autohotkey.com/ Install Autohotkey Rightclick in a directory and add a Autohotkey script (from the new menu) Edit the script Run script ...

Re: <t>Review: IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad</t>

BOS (and its siblings) is a bit pricey IMHO given the business model used, and is likely to be one the toughest, if not the toughest game you’ll ever master.
I'll see your IL-2 Stalingrad and raise you with Digital Combat Simulator.

Probably the toughest game I'll never master ;) .

Re: Stormpowered store - what is going on with it

I took the plunge and got the base game. When this installed and worked fine I decided to get the 2nd ship pack but whatever I tried (IE - Firefox) I couldn't get to the checkout anymore. I tried again a couple hours later and this time I had success. I seems to me it doesn't matter what you do or w...

Re: Stormpowered store - what is going on with it

If I put two items in my cart it crashes in IE and in Firefox !

If I put the whole Jutland package in my cart the price goes up with $20 ! ($89.99 instead of store price $69.99).

Can you play the game offline ?
If there is always online DRM I will not trust Stormpowered to be around for ever.

I can get to the paypal login so it might be windows 10 related.
