Re:

Which game is shown in the header image?
Thanks.
Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg

This isn't an actual game play image but taken from a campaign intro video so don't let the graphics seduce you.

Re: <t>Osprey publishing's third week of free Wargaming eBooks</t>

Found this possible fix : 1) Login to the site with the incorrect country set. Must be the incorrect country that was set when you first added your books to the cart. 2) Go to your shopping cart and remove all the content. 3) Now change the country to the correct one. 4) Add all the free books again...

Re: Steel Division 2

I just could not get into the Click Fest---- Steel Div 2 is............ I just like a Slower Pace........ AP514 I installed cheat engine speedhack (single player only !!). It allows you to slow the game down and even lets you pause it while you can still give orders. http://www.cheatengine.org/abou...

Re:

How about WITP AE?
It is unique but most people are turned of by the complex user interface, and almost nobody ever finishes the grand campaign.
It is not a game but a way of life  .

But at the current price of $16 it is a must have.

Re: <t>SAGA or no, Fall of the Samurai is an excellent stand-alone experience and the perfect poster-child for Total War

When it first came out you could buy it without owning Shogun II and still play it on its own. Still correct today, Shogun II base game is not required. A standalone expansion to Total War: Shogun 2. The campaign begins in the year 1864 and covers the events that led up to the Meiji Restoration, na...

Re: Stormpowered store - what is going on with it

For me the hotkeys (that you can't rebind) aren't optimal to use. I use a small piece of software to rebind the keys (outside of the game) : Autohotkey https://www.autohotkey.com/ Install Autohotkey Rightclick in a directory and add a Autohotkey script (from the new menu) Edit the script Run script ...

Re: <t>Review: IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad</t>

BOS (and its siblings) is a bit pricey IMHO given the business model used, and is likely to be one the toughest, if not the toughest game you’ll ever master.
I'll see your IL-2 Stalingrad and raise you with Digital Combat Simulator.

Probably the toughest game I'll never master ;) .
