I would’ve prefered two control modes one (like the current one) for evasive maneuvers and a second where you can simply set heading and depth like in Silent Hunter. Looking foreward to part 2.

In the Eugen Systems games (Airland Battle, Red Dragon) you can spend more time building decks than actually playing the game (and this is a good thing).

Sometimes I still hear 'Get them to the shingle' from the first mission 'Omaha Beach' in Company of heroes.
And there is the Normandy mission in Call of Duty 2 that comes to my mind.
