You can tap and hold and the card will be shown. Indeed you can. Still, the table setting makes it a bit difficult to tell a...

Re: Ortus Regni

(Also I think the entire presentation of the game is textbook 'how not to do skeuomorphism', cf also rinelk's 'Cards are not cards' post, but never mind. Let's go for functional and reliable first.) If you're objecting to the use of skeumorphism per se, I think its worth recalling that the app is b...

Re: Don't Touch the Big Red Button: Twilight Struggle tournament

Just FYI, played 10 games against the computer so far, and none have gone past Mid War. I keep losing :) But I am finding new and interesting ways to lose! Who knew if you played Olympic Games at DefCon 2 and your opponent boycotted to reduce def con by 1 that you would lose, not them! This is prec...

Was it as awesome as I'm imagining?

Re: Don't Touch the Big Red Button: Twilight Struggle tournament

I don't actually know what I am doing in this game... Except holding Australia. No comma bastards in oz thank you!
It's really pretty simple. You'll get it in no time, or at least the basics you need to know (I still haven't looked realignment rolls up in the rulebook xD).

Re: Ortus Regni

I'll add you tonight. I'm embarrassed to say I still don't really know what I'm doing in this game...
Me either--our current game will probably come down to who's less futile (or who lucks into a win) ...
Less feudal, you mean.

Hrm, there appears to be no notification whatsoever when it's your turn, not even on the website. Just discovered that a game I was invited to is 7 turns in, and it never showed up in my "waiting games".
