Really like the look of Radio Commander - for something completely different gameplay wise. Please continue to flag Kickstarter projects like this, where relevant. I've got my hands on the demo - currently downloading!

Wargame Design Studio is currently hard at work bringing El Alamein '42, Tobruk '41, and Tunisia '43 up to their Gold standard. Apparently two are complete, and one is left to do ...

I checked out Waterloo 3D but it doesn't indicate whether you can play it multiplayer which is a must for me. Preferably a PBEM option as well.

My personal list:

1) Field of Glory Empires - a mix of grand strategy and tactical battles (when coupled with
FoG II, which is a great game in itself)
2) Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865) - again, tactical battles and strategic
layer, a combination I'm always fond of.
3) Strategic Command: World War I - finally something about WWI.
4) Unity of Command - no comment needed here.

Will keep an eye on:
1) Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail - Ultimate General Civil War had a great AI (something of a rare phenomenon nowadays), so I'm eager to find out what will they come up with this time.
2) Fantasy General II - even though I'm not a big fan of fantasy setting, I must say this game seems to have some charm in it.

Klotzen! and Panzer Corps II both look good, but I think this PG-like puzzle wargame niche is already crowded and exploited.
Close Combat: The Bloody First - have a potential to be very good, provided the AI will be good enough to offer a decent challenge.
