We’ve all been there in Steel Division 2: The enemy has a big scary tank. Everything it sees it kills. Everything shot at it is useless.

I installed cheat engine speedhack (single player only !!). It allows you to slow the game down and even lets you pause it while you can still give orders. http://www.cheatengine.org/aboutce.php

Cheat Engine is an open source tool designed to help you with modifying single player games running under window so you can make them harder or easier depending on your preference
It comes with a memory scanner to quickly scan for variables used within a game and allow you to change them, but it also comes with a debugger, disassembler, assembler, speedhack, trainer maker, direct 3D manipulation tools, system inspection tools and more.

Download : http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php

I suggest you only download the version without Open Candy and not use the automatic installer (it could be considered to be Malware by some AV software)

Short tutorials :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dZ2okB8WNQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEDPgrz1Gl8

Simple instructions :

Run Cheatengine.exe
Now run the game you want to play (should run in windowed full screen as you need to be able to use Alt-Tab).
Alt tab back to cheatengine.
Select the game process in cheat engine by clicking on the computer icon (the icon will be blinking)
Check enable Speedhack (You can add ingame shortcuts in cheatengine through Edit-settings-shortcuts).
Alt Tab back to the game and play.

This way you can play the game at any speed you like without the need to use the very slow 'bullet time".

If you play single player only, the click-fest is not an issue. You have active pause, you can also slow down the pace. You can assign some units to the AI (recently introduced Smart Orders feature) and it will handle them well, allowing you to focus on the crucial part of the front line. They have really improved the game since Normandy 44' and imho it's the best operational (Army general Mode) and tactical WWII wargame currently available (if you're not a fan of Graviteam's games UI) And it looks sooo good (these smoke columns!).
