Apple has released their 2019 retrospective, crowning now only their favourite ‘apps’ in general, but also their favourite games across iPhone, iPad, Free and Paid.

Those lists aren't the "best" games of 2019, just the most-downloaded ones. Most of the ones on the paid list aren't even from this year.

Good point, I think I got a bit carried away when writing this up. Edited the copy to differentiate more between what Apple are saying are 'best' and what the top downloads are.
